He has 28 years experience of this field and has worked in different areas like purchasing department, administration, etc. Vijay Chavda has recently joined hands with Periasamy Nadar on 10/6/2005 he is a MBA graduate from Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad.

History of senna
Arabians were the first to use Senna as medicine and presently it is used in Allopathic, Ayurvedic and Unani system of medicines. Species reportedly introduced first in Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu during the mid eighteenth century from European countries and hence the Indian produce as a whole is referred as Tinnevelly Senna.

Now, it is grown in several places in Gujarat Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu in Gujarat it is grown in Kutch district and Bhachau is the main market for senna in Gujarat the season of the Senna leaves grown in Gujarat and Rajasthan differs from Tamil Nadu crop.
